What comes after NMN? The reduced form your cells convert faster.
Vitality-X™ combines NMNH — a next-generation NAD+ precursor — with NMN, direct NAD+, and NADH in one capsule. Four compounds addressing the same problem through four different entry points. This is where NAD+ science is heading.
- 220mg NMNH + 100mg NMN + 50mg NAD+ + 10mg NADH per capsule
- Four distinct NAD+ pathways in a single 380mg capsule
- NMNH: the reduced form of NMN — studied for faster cellular uptake

You know NMN. This is what NMN becomes when it works harder.
If you’ve been following longevity research, you’re probably familiar with NMN — nicotinamide mononucleotide. Your body converts NMN into NAD+, the coenzyme your cells need for energy production, DNA repair, and healthy ageing. It’s well-studied, well-understood, and it works.
NMNH is the next chapter. NMNH stands for dihydronicotinamide mononucleotide — the reduced form of NMN. “Reduced” means the molecule is carrying extra electrons, giving it more energy to donate to cellular processes.
Here’s why that matters: when your body converts NMN into NAD+, it goes through several enzymatic steps. NMNH may bypass some of those steps because it’s already in a more active state. Think of NMN as raw ingredients that need cooking. NMNH is the meal that’s already half-prepared — it still needs finishing, but it gets to the table faster.
A 2023 study published in Nature Metabolism found that NMNH raised NAD+ levels in mice more rapidly than NMN at equivalent doses. The researchers observed that NMNH entered cells through a different transport mechanism, bypassing some of the rate-limiting steps in NMN conversion.
Is NMNH “better” than NMN? It’s too early to say definitively. The human research is still in early stages. What we can say is that the biochemistry is compelling, the animal data is encouraging, and NMNH represents the next evolution of NAD+ precursor science. That’s why we built an entire formula around it.
Four compounds. Four entry points. One capsule.
Most NAD+ supplements give you one compound and ask it to do everything. Vitality-X™ provides four distinct molecules, each entering the NAD+ cycle at a different point, so your cells have multiple routes to restore NAD+ levels simultaneously.

Choose Pure NMN if: You want the simplest, most-studied product in the range. Single ingredient, maximum dose, broadest evidence base. If you’re new to NAD+ supplementation, start here.
Choose Liposomal NMN PLUS+ if: You’ve tried standard NMN and want improved absorption. The liposomal coating protects NMN through digestion, and the addition of NAD+ and NADH gives you three pathways instead of one.
Choose Vitality-X™ if: You’ve been supplementing NAD+ for a while and want to explore the leading edge. NMNH is newer and less studied in humans, but the preclinical data suggests it may be more efficient. The quad-pathway formula is the most comprehensive approach we offer.
What the research says about NMNH (the honest version)
NMNH is newer than NMN. The research base is smaller. We think it’s important to tell you exactly where the science stands — not where we hope it’ll be in five years.
✅ What we know: NMNH has been studied in several published preclinical studies. The most notable was published in 2023 in Nature Metabolism, where researchers found that NMNH raised NAD+ levels in mouse liver tissue more effectively than equivalent doses of NMN. The proposed mechanism is that NMNH, as a reduced molecule, enters cells through a different transporter and bypasses the rate-limiting NAMPT enzyme step that NMN depends on.
A separate study found that NMNH increased NAD+ levels in kidney and liver tissue more rapidly than NMN, with measurable increases within hours of administration.
⚠️ What we don’t know yet: Human clinical trials specifically on NMNH are still in early stages. The animal data is encouraging, but biological pathways don’t always translate directly from mice to humans. We don’t yet have large-scale, long-term human safety data specifically on NMNH — though its chemical relationship to NMN (which does have human safety data) is reassuring.
Our position: We included NMNH as the lead compound in Vitality-X™ because the biochemistry is compelling, the preclinical data is promising, and we believe NMNH represents the next generation of NAD+ precursor science. But we also included 100mg of well-studied NMN in the same capsule — because building a formula entirely on early-stage research wouldn’t be responsible. You get the best of both: the proven foundation of NMN and the potential advantage of NMNH.
The “5x absorption” claim — context: You may see “5x better absorbed” associated with NMNH. This refers to preclinical data showing NMNH raised tissue NAD+ levels approximately five times more than NMN at the same dose in a specific mouse model. It’s a real data point from published research, but it comes with caveats: it was measured in mice, in specific tissues, and absorption in humans may differ. We reference this finding because it’s genuine and published, but we want you to understand the context.
This supplement lives in your fridge. Here’s why that matters.
Vitality-X™ is the only product in the Nutriop range that requires refrigeration (2–8°C). For most people, that’s slightly inconvenient. We get it.
But here’s the thing: NMNH is a reduced molecule. “Reduced” means it’s carrying extra electrons — which is exactly what makes it potentially more effective. The trade-off is that reduced molecules are less stable at room temperature. They’re more reactive, which is good for your cells but means the compound degrades faster if stored warm.
Requiring cold storage isn’t a flaw in the product. It’s evidence that the NMNH is genuine and in its active, reduced form. If someone sells you “NMNH” that’s stable at room temperature, it may have already oxidised back into regular NMN — at which point you’re paying a premium for what is essentially standard NMN in different packaging.

Your first 30 days: what people report (and what we can’t promise)
NMNH is newer than NMN, which means there’s less long-term user feedback. Here’s what we know from the science, what our early customers describe, and what’s reasonable to expect. We’ve separated the probable from the possible.
Two capsules. Morning routine. Fridge to mouth in 30 seconds.
The fridge routine: Keep the bottle in your refrigerator. When you wake up, open the fridge, take two capsules with water, close the fridge. It becomes as automatic as reaching for the milk. The brief moment at room temperature has zero impact on potency.
Can I split the dose? The label allows 1–2 capsules twice daily. You can take one morning and one before your evening meal. Both approaches work — some people find the split dose provides more sustained support. Just ensure each dose is on an empty stomach, about an hour before food.
Enhanced protocol: Up to 4 capsules per day (2 × 2 daily) for maximum NAD+ support. This reduces bottle supply to approximately 11 days. Most people find 2 capsules daily is the ideal balance between efficacy and value.
Storage reminder: Always return the bottle to the fridge after use. 2–8°C keeps the NMNH in its active, reduced form.
Already running the best NAD+ formula we make? Here’s what to pair it with.
Vitality-X™ is our most comprehensive NAD+ formula. It covers four pathways to NAD+ restoration in a single capsule. But NAD+ is just one part of the longevity equation. These combinations target what NAD+ alone can’t reach.
What Nutriop customers say about NAD+ supplementation
Vitality-X™ is one of our newer products, and the review base is still growing. Here’s what we’re hearing so far — plus what customers across our NAD+ range consistently report.
"Love it"
"I stopped taking NMN last summer for about three months. I could definitely feel a drop of energy and my arthritis got worse. I started taking the supplement again in September and within a month I had more energy and no pain. Over all I feel more vibrant."
"I feel a noticeable boost in energy and cognitive sharpness, especially when I take it in the morning on an empty stomach. While others around me have been feeling fatigued or falling ill, I’ve stayed healthy and energized."
"Within a couple of days I felt more energised and woke up a lot easier in the mornings. Within the next 10 days I also noticed my mental clarity improve at work, with markedly improved focus and concentration."
"The supplement improves my well-being; I start the day feeling energized. My previous fatigue during the day has also disappeared."
"Started with these and had great results, tried cheaper alternatives but results varied and were never so consistent. Stick with the best."
"I had no expectations, as this seemed part of the ‘quack’ narrative... I tried the capsules first and didn’t notice anything especially miraculous, until I ran out and stopped."
Fair questions. Straight answers.
"NMNH is newer than NMN. How do I know it's safe?"
NMNH is the reduced (hydrogenated) form of NMN — chemically, it’s NMN with additional hydrogen atoms. It occurs naturally in living organisms as part of the NAD+ metabolic cycle. Published preclinical studies have not reported significant adverse effects. However, we’re transparent: there is less human safety data specifically on NMNH supplementation compared to NMN. If that makes you more comfortable starting with our Pure NMN (which has extensive human trial data), that’s a perfectly reasonable choice. Vitality-X™ also includes 100mg of well-studied NMN alongside the NMNH.
"Why is this more expensive per day than Pure NMN?"
Two reasons. First, NMNH costs significantly more to produce than NMN — the reduction process requires additional manufacturing steps and the cold-chain storage adds cost throughout production and distribution. Second, this is a four-compound formula, not a single ingredient. You’re getting NMNH, NMN, NAD+, and NADH in every capsule. The per-day cost of ~€2.47 (subscribe) reflects the most complex NAD+ formula in our range.
"If I'm already taking Pure NMN, should I switch to this?"
It depends on your goals. If Pure NMN is working well for you and you’re happy with the results, there’s no urgent reason to switch — NMN is effective and well-studied. Vitality-X™ is designed for people who want to explore the next generation of NAD+ science, or who’ve been supplementing for a while and want a more comprehensive approach. Some customers switch entirely; others alternate between products. There’s no wrong answer.
"Why does this need to be refrigerated?"
NMNH is a reduced molecule — it carries extra electrons, which is what makes it potentially more effective but also less stable at room temperature. Refrigeration at 2–8°C keeps the NMNH in its active, reduced form. If it degrades, it oxidises back into standard NMN. Cold storage is actually a quality indicator: it means the NMNH is genuine and in the form that matters. Products claiming NMNH stability at room temperature should be questioned.
"What does '5x better absorbed' actually mean?"
This refers to preclinical data showing NMNH raised NAD+ levels in mouse tissues approximately five times more effectively than NMN at equivalent doses. It’s a published finding from a legitimate study. The important caveat: it was measured in mice, and human absorption may differ. We reference this data because it’s real and peer-reviewed, but we don’t claim it translates directly to a 5x improvement in humans. The evidence suggests NMNH is absorbed more efficiently than NMN — the exact magnitude in humans is still being studied.
"The NMNH and NADH certificates say 'updating.' Should I be concerned?"
No. We’re in the process of batch-testing a new production run of NMNH and NADH. The previous batches were verified at 99% purity. The current certificates for NAD+ (99.4%) and NMN (99.5%) are published and downloadable on this page. We post this transparently because we’d rather show you “test in progress” than pretend we have results we don’t. Updated certificates will be published as soon as the new batch testing is complete.
"45 capsules at 2 per day = about 22 days. That's not even a month."
You’re right, and we understand the frustration. The 45-capsule count reflects the manufacturing and cost realities of a four-compound formula that requires cold storage. A larger bottle would push the price above €90 one-time, which we felt created too much hesitation for a newer product. Subscribing ensures uninterrupted delivery and saves 25%, bringing the price to $66.00 per bottle — and your next bottle ships before you run out.

💡 How it compares: Vitality-X™ is our most advanced formula and highest per-day cost at ~€2.47 (subscribe). That’s €0.72 more per day than Pure NMN and €0.52 more than Liposomal NMN PLUS+. What you get for that premium: the only formula with NMNH, the only quad-pathway NAD+ approach in our range, and the most comprehensive NAD+ restoration strategy we’ve developed.
Try Vitality-X™ for a full three months. If you don’t notice a meaningful difference — for any reason — email us for a complete refund. We’ll ask about your experience to help us improve, but we won’t make it difficult. With a newer product like this, we think the guarantee matters even more.
Four compounds. Four independent verifications.
Every active ingredient in Vitality-X™ is tested by an independent laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. A four-compound formula means four separate analyses — one for each active ingredient.
We publish all available lab results because we believe you should be able to verify what you’re taking. Two certificates are current and downloadable. Two are being updated. That’s the honest picture, and we’d rather show it than hide it.
NMN works. The research is clear. But the science doesn’t stop there.
